Döymə — Brand Concept for a Copper Workshop

Döymə — Brand Concept for a Copper Workshop
01

About the project

Döymə is an internal NS Studio concept: a sample brand for a contemporary copperware workshop inspired by the Lahij coppersmith tradition, not a client commission.

The name refers to hammering copper by hand. The idea behind the brand: a handmade vessel is one of a kind — every strike leaves a mark, and every mark is a signature.

The project shows NS Studio’s approach to branding and logo design.

02

A Logo Born from Hammer Marks

The mark is the letter “Ö”: the circle is a copper tray, and the two dots above it are hammer strikes. A letter of the name itself becomes the brand symbol.

The colours come from the material: copper, charcoal, patina and parchment. Elegant Cormorant is used for headlines and Albert Sans for information. The visual system follows NS Studio’s UI/UX design and branding approach.

03

Packaging, Catalogue and the Workshop

The black gift box carries a copper-foil logo, and each vessel’s tag shows its number, weight and a note: “No moulds — every piece is unique.” The care card gives simple advice: half a lemon and a pinch of salt.

A catalogue page, business cards and the workshop’s round sign continue the same calm, weighty and premium language.
